Many Nigerians believe that the Yoruba ethnic group can only be found in the six South-Western States and North Central(Kogi And Kwara) but it might also interest you that the Yorubas can also be found in the South-South.

According to a report by National Mirror, there exists an authentic Yoruba Community in Delta State in the South-South region of Nigeria.

The Yoruba people in Delta State, according to history, migrated from Owo/Akure area of the present-day Ondo State in the South West region of Nigeria between the 9th and 11th century AD.

The people of Ugbodu in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State are predominantly people from the Yoruba race.
