They would place their matchete on the person’s chest, And machete would turn red if the person was guilty. Anyone who they found guilty, they cut into bits and set their remains on fi.re.

Many armed robbery groups attempted to fight off the Bakassi boys, But they failed, because the Bakassi boys had been spiritually cooked in ite Ogu, which made them resistant to gun shots and knives, Thus, the word ‘Odeshi’ which translates to ”It doesn’t penetrate ” in English.

Any group that attacked the Bakassi boys always took to their heal, when they see the bullet not piercing the skin of the Bakassi boys. The terror of the Bakassi boys spread to all other Igbo states.

Till this day, some people of Anambra believes that Eddy Nawgu was kill.ed intentionally by the Bakassi boys for mare political reasons. Rumours had it that the boys began to fall apart and loose their great charms when they did the things that the Dibia warned them against. There were claims that they even kille.d the Dibia, so that no one would be left to undo their charms,

But they lost it anyways.

They began to sleep around with women which was one of the things the Dibia warned them against, When they realized they had lost their powers, They soon turned to become that which they once fought against….Seê _ Morê
