He made the winning of Moshood Abiola possible even though it was annulled.
Babangida seeing that Moshood Abiola was likely to win 1993 Presidential election which he(Babangida) didn’t want.
Babangida demanded that Prof Humphrey Nwosu to discontinue the collation and announcing of the results.
But Prof Humphrey Nwosu being a real Democrat paid deaf ears to Babangida and went on with the electoral announcement, at the end Moshood Abiola was declared the Winner.
Babangida ordered the torturing of Prof Humphrey Nwosu for going against his orders.
