Ofo na ogu are 2 words people use often yet do not fully understood it …
But I will explain it to your understanding because knowledge is power.
Eji m ofo is having a clean hand and mind towards a person or a thing, been innocent over something, that is why people always say, e jiri m gi ofo .. example when someone is laing allegation on you, you will say, eji m ofo, meaning I am innocent…. And for the fact that you are innocent, you will be exonerated…
But
Ogu is like swearing, establishing an oath… as I never think of killing anyone, if anyone think of killing me, may he die, if I think it, may I die ..
If you ever wish me evil, may that evil come to you as I never wish anyone evil but if I wish anyone evil may it come to me.
If I do evil to anyone let Ajana kill me and if anyone do evil to me, let Ajana kill the person…etc
Ofo is powerful but ogu is the Koko.. anyone who uses ogu on his or her daily igo ofo is a strong deity that can NEVER be destroyed.. it is one of the greatest natural protection charms.. this is why our forefathers lived longer . They follow ofo na ogu but it’s difficult in this our present generation as people go with ofo but hardly go with ogu because they love to do evil atimes…
