Jenna, a pregnant woman, is struggling to find a seat on a crowded Subway train. A kind man offers her his seat, but her day takes an unexpected turn when she notices an adult woman repeatedly bashing the back of her chair, causing Jenna’s seat to move. Jenna becomes concerned and leans in to see what the woman is looking at on her phone. To her surprise, an image of the man who gave up his seat appears, wanted by the state police for being a fugitive.
Jenna realizes the man is still on the train and becomes frightened when he starts following her after she leaves the Subway. The man explains that he wanted to ask for his phone back, which had fallen out of his pocket when he gave up his seat. Despite his explanation, the police had tracked his phone to Jenna’s house and invaded her privacy, leading to a dangerous encounter.
Marcel shares his story of being falsely accused and hunted as a bank robber. Despite having an alibi and no evidence against him, the police and media labeled him as a criminal based on the confessions of the real criminals. Marcel, fearing an unfair judgment, hid from authorities.
Jenna, moved by Marcel’s plight, offered her help and called her uncle, a lawyer, who believed Marcel’s story and convinced him to turn himself in. With Jenna and her uncle’s support, Marcel was found innocent in court, and the police paid him a large fine for mental harm.
