*Efere ọji(White plate)

*Dry Gin (colourless hot drink)

First thing, wash your mouth and face….then try as much as possible to take cleanse yourself with 4 seeds of alligator pepper

Bring out your Efere oji (white plate) inside it are kola, Nzu, Edo and Alligator pepper.

Note: Your alligator pepper should be opened from your back not front.

Then pick 7 seeds of Alligator pepper and put it in your mouth and make some affirmations like Ose oji anaghị eje ije ifere(Alligator pepper never embark on a shameful journey), okwu m ga adị ire na Eke, órìè, afọ na ǹkwọ. Then you chew them.

Raise your nzu up and call upon Chi-ukwu Okike, thank and reference him for all the good things he has done for you maka n’ekene dike na nke omelu omekwa ọzọ.

Call upon your Chi and thank him/her,

Call your Ndichie na ndị egede,

Call upon Ajani, all the mmuo in Your father’s and mother’s side

Then call upon Ezumezu/Ora mmuo n’ile gị na ha yi (all your spiritual forces)

Call the market day of that particular day and invite them to come to your nzu maka na aka malu nzu adị ama unyi.

Make sure you have at least one petition to table before your Ora mmuo on daily basis.

After all the declarations you can use the Nzu to draw signs on the floor representing your request, remember as you are making your affirmations, you will use your nail to be bringing out the Nzu in powdered form as it drops on the floor. Then return the Nzu back to the plate

Next is Edo. Say as I affirmed with nzu so I am affirming with Edo and that any spirit that is angry with me ” na Eke, Orìè, Afọ, Nkwọ ka oo doo k’Edo, then use your nails and drop a little quantity on the floor. Return the Edo back to the plate.

Next pick your Oji (kola), wash it with clean water

Call upon Chi-ukwu Okike Abiama, as you prayed with Nzu so you are praying with oji, then call your Chi and all the Ezumezu mmuo n’ile,

Then raise your kola up to Anyanwu na Agbala and again lower it for Aja Ani/ground to partake.

Then call your Chi by name ka otaa oji (to come and take kola)

Ndi ichie taa oji,

Aja ani taa oji,

Orji taa oji,

Ngwu taa oji,

Ka Udara taa oji

Ka akpu taa oji

Akwari omumu nna nna gi ka taa oji..

Ikenga Igbo taa oji,

Wee diri gaba…

Extend your words and ask both deities and other ones you know ka ha bia taa oji (to take kola)

Name them one by one and invite them to the kola, onye akpọlu ya kpọọ ibe ya.

Don’t forget to make your requests known to them. After that break the kola into cotyledons (ibe oji), fold it into your palm and drop them inside the plate. Then read what the kola is saying after your prayers (that’s if you can)

Remember you must take one kola out of them for yourself because you cannot offer the Spiritual entities what you cannot eat, it seems poisonous to them
