Captain Mike Akhigbe is among the former leaders of Lagos State and ruled from 1986 to 1988.

Brigadier General Raji Rasaki governed Lagos State from 1988 to 1992.
9. Michael Otedola.
Sir Michael Otedola ruled Lagos State from 1992 to 1993.
10. Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
Colonel Olagunsoye Oyinlola was the governor of Lagos State and ruled from 1993 to 1996.
11. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was the governor of Lagos State and he ruled from 1999 to 2007.
12. Babatunde Fashola.
Babatunde Fashola governed Lagos State from 2007 to 2015.
13. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Akinwunmi Ambode was the governor of Lagos State And he leads from 2015 to 2019.
