The U. J. Esuene Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Opened forty five years ago, the stadium has a sitting capacity of sixteen thousand, and is one of the current best stadiums in Nigeria. It is used majorly for football games and is the home stadium of Calabar Rovers and previously Dolphins F.C. The stadiums was short-listed as a stadium for the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Yakubu Gowon Stadium, formerly known as Liberation Stadium, is a football stadium whose location is at the Elekahia suburb of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Regarded as one of the current best stadiums in Nigeria, the stadium has a capacity of sixty six thousand seats and is presently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Rivers United F.C. It was five years ago that the stadium’s name was changed from Liberation Stadium to Yakubu Gowon Stadium in honor of former Nigerian military head of state, General Yakubu Gowon.

The Sani Abacha Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. One of the current Stadiums in Nigeria, the stadium have hosted various international competitions, including the 2000 African Cup of Nations and the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. It has sitting capacity of sixteen thousand and is presently used mostly for football games and athletics. The stadium is the home of Kano Pillars football club, and is named after the deceased former military dictator, Sani Abacha.

The Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Considered as one of the current best stadiums in Nigeria, the stadium is presently used especially for football matches and is the home stadium of Bendel Insurance FC and Edo Queens FC. The stadium has a sitting capacity of twelve thousand and it is named after the two-time Governor of the old Bendel State, Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia.
