The former presidential spokesperson of the Labour Party (LP) during the 2023 general elections, Dr Doyin Okupe, in an interview during the week, talked on the most reasonable thing his former principal, Peter Obi, did since the last election concluded.
According to Vanguard, it was reported that Dr Doyin Okupe, revealed this while he was featuring on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm.
Doyin Okupe, who was careful not to sound like he was supporting rigging in elections conducted in the country said that Nigeria must put her structures down, and this will make it impossible for people or politicians to rig election.
He said, “I heard recently that Obi is meeting with Atiku and there’s a possibility of some merger, that’s the most reasonable thing I have seen Peter Obi do in the last one year. Joining the Peoples Democratic Party enhances his chances.”
Further talking, he said, “Becoming president is more than chance enhancement. There are lots of issues. The best thing that can happen to Peter Obi is for him to be the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and he picks his VP from the north….S££ MOR£
