They say love is blind and this cliché holds true in many cases. For instance, love does not see the age of the partner and it happens when it is destined to. Maybe, she is 31 and he is 25, but they share an undeniable chemistry that makes their world a brighter place when they are together. Or, a couple might have a beautiful relationship even if he’s 10 years older than her. That brings us to the question- does the age of your partner has got anything to do with your compatibility.

Saneie Masilela became the world youngest groom when he wedded a 62-year-old woman. At the time of their marriage, he was only nine years.

Although other villagers and onlookers described the nuptials as “sickening”, the young groom dressed in a silver tuxedo says he did it again to make the marriage “official”.

No minding the 53-year-age gap, they repeated their vows a year later in front of 100 guests. His bride Helen Shabangu is a mother of 5, with children aged between 28 and 38 years old.

The ceremony took place in front of Helen’s long-term husband Alfred Shabangu. He said “My kids and I are happy because we don’t have a problem with her marrying the boy – and I don’t care what other people say.”

Both families claim the wedding is a simply “ritual” after the young school boy was told by his dead ancestors to wed last year.

Dressed in a silvery tuxedo, baby-faced Saneie clutched the hand of mother-of-five Helen Shabangu – her children are aged between 28- and 38-years-old – as they repeated their vows a year on in front of 100 guests.

The ceremony – where guests shared a piece of cake – took place in front of Helen’s long-term husband Alfred Shabangu, 66, who was there last year as well.

According to sources, the boy wedded the mother of five, Helen Shabangu, and a year later they renewed their vows to make the marriage official according to their South African traditions. The boy, Saneie Masilela, agreed to tie the knot with Helen Shabangu, a 62-year-old mother of five because he loves her dearly.

Masilela was quoted to have proudly echoed his affection towards his wife despite their age gap. It is said that the boy made it clear that age is just a number when it comes to maters of the heart.

The Mirror reports that Masilela was visited by dead ancestors who told him to wed Shabangu.

They say they married again to make it “official.”

By then Some in the villiage of Ximhungwe called the whole thing “sickening.” However, the two were not live together and Sanele said he still planned to marry a woman his own age when he is older…..Seê _ Morê
