According to a report by Al Jazeera, Palestinian Islamic Jihad has condemned the killing of five individuals, including a 16-year-old girl and a 50-year-old woman, during an Israeli incursion into the Tulkarem refugee camp.
The armed group characterized the incident as a manifestation of Israel’s “brutal aggression” against the occupied West Bank.
Among the deceased were three commanders from armed factions engaged in resistance against Israel’s longstanding occupation. The group expressed outrage over the use of drone strikes in the operation, which they claim exemplifies Israel’s ongoing violence against the Palestinian people.
“The assassination carried out by Israeli forces using a drone is proof of Israel’s terrorism and thirst for Palestinian blood and for carrying out crimes against our people,” Palestinian Islamic Jihad stated on its official Telegram channel.
