We Have Finally Found Him, See The Great Igbo Musicians Who Is Not Celebrated Enough

It has been about 35 years since he left us in this world. His name is Nze Nelson Ejinduaka Ezike Nnadozie, popularly known as SHOW PROMOTER. He was born in Umunankwo Amannachi Ebenator in the old Orlu local government area of Imo State.

EZIKE NNADOZIE, as he was popularly called when he was alive, is one of the great Igbo musicians who are not celebrated enough. This man was exceptional when it came to Akụkọ n’egwu. One special thing about his Akụkọ n’egwu is that they are based on true stories. When you listen to some of his music, like “Nwanyị Port Part 2,” you will hear how Onye ogbu ịsị killed Nwanyi Port, her 3-year-old son, and her newborn baby.

There’s another song he sang about an event that happened in Umuaka, Imo State, in 1974. It tells the story of how a woman framed an innocent boy, leading the community to bury the boy alive, and how thunder brought the boy out of the grave after some days.
