A woman named Shanlavell James has disclosed that she walked out of her marriage because her husband lost his job
In a series of posts on Facebook, she defended her decision to divorce the man based on his inability to provide.
According to her, she married a protector and a provider, not a man who would end up broke at some point in their lives.
Shanlavell maintained that she did what she did because the promises made to her were broken. “I’m an extremely beautiful woman and deserve a man who knows his job is to always take care of me and my children,” she asserted. Shanlavell was adamant that she didn’t care what anyone thought about her as she was the best thing that happened to that man, and she would be even better for her next husband.
Her irrational decision did not end there; she started cheating with his friend just 30 days after he was fired. Shanlavell says she was tired of being the man of the house, so she went out with his friend, and one thing led to the next.
The two had a fantastic time, and since she had missed being treated like a woman, she gave in to his demands.

As a man there should never be a time that you can’t financially take care of your woman and kids. I’m standing firm on my decision because the least my husband could have done was agreed to paying me back. If he refused to pay me back after 1 month of paying bills then if I had to pay bills for 6 months before he got a job I wouldn’t have gotten my money back. I got out of my marriage before I ended up having to take care of a man. I know my worth!
