Nollywood actress, Stella Udeze has taken to her social media page to analyse why some Nigerian actresses are unhappy in relationships or why their relationships don’t last long.
According to her, the prevalent perception of women in Nollywood is to blame, not the women themselves, adding that most people see actresses as prostitutes.
Udeze in a chat with Potpourri noted that “Some actresses don’t seem to have a happy relationship because of trust issues. In Nigeria, 80 per cent of men feel that being an actress makes you a prostitute.
“They should learn to differentiate the good from the bad. We can’t deny the fact that we are exposed to the world. I think when people stop to have this impression about them, they will realize we can have the best relationships,”
The actress, however, admitted that there are bad eggs but refused to accept that prostitutes and ‘runs girls” have invaded the industry.
She added; “That is why I said earlier that people should learn to differentiate the good from the bad if truly prostitutes have invaded Nollywood.
