There’re Photos Of Gov Bago Spraying Money; Tinubu’s Daughter Was Caught In Same Crime—Pogu Bitrus

Pogu Bitrus, the President of the Middle Belt Forum (MBF), has raised concerns about how the authorities handle the crime of abusing banknotes. He pointed out that famous personalities like Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju and Cubana Chief Priest were both prosecuted for abusing Naira notes but similar actions by some influential people have gone unpunished.

In a recent report by The Sun, Bitrus said recently pictures surfaced showing Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago mishandling naira notes. He said President Tinubu’s daughter was also caught committing the same offence and despite this, the EFCC which is supposed to enforce the law against abuse of banknotes has not taken any action against them.

In Bitrus’ words: “There are pictures of Governor Bago spraying money when he visited Kagara recently; President Tinubu’s daughter was also recently caught in the same crime. But the EFCC has kept silent in the case of Bago and the president’s daughter”
