Vladimir Putin On The Back Foot As Nato Reveals Elite ‘reaction Force’ To Take On Russia

Vladimir Putin has been left reeling after NATO said it was planning to announce a new “reaction force” to counter Russia on Monday.

Writing on Twitter/X they announced: “Get ready for an exciting announcement! On Monday, 1st July 2024, we’ll be iVladimir Putin On The Back Foot As Nato Reveals Elite ‘reaction Force’ To Take On Russia introducing the new Allied Reaction Force (ARF), a key component of NATO‘s enhanced defence strategy.

“Stay tuned and come back to our channel for all the details.”

The upcoming announcement has been made at a time when tensions between NATO and Russia have skyrocketed over Moscow’s war in Ukraine.

Earlier this year, the head of NATO Jens Stoltenberg warned that the West could face something it has never had to deal with before.

Mr Stoltenberg told The Telegraph that the West could soon have to deal with “two nuclear-powered potential adversaries” in the form of Russia and China.

Mr Stoltenberg revealed that there had been consultations between members of NATO about taking missiles out of storage and placing them on standby.

He explained: “I won’t go into operational details about how many nuclear warheads should be operational and which should be stored, but we need to consult on these issues. That’s exactly what we’re doing.”

The result of rising tensions between NATO and the likes of Russia and China has been an increasing fear that the world could be moving closer to World War 3.

One of Britain’s leading military historians, Richard Overy has warned that it could be “too late” to stop the conflict from beginning.

Also in The Telegraph, Mr Overy wrote: “Power works best as an explanation when history turns to the individuals who drove themselves to become the great conquerors, men whose raw ambition mobilised ­support from their people for unlimited conquest – Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Hitler.

“This is hubristic power based on arrogant self-belief and it usually evaporates with the death or defeat of the leader. But so long as they lead, and there are people willing to follow, war is unlimited and destructive on a vast scale.

“This is the most dangerous and unpredictable explanation for the persistence of warfare and it covers the whole historical record. It is one of the surest indications that war still has a future as well as a long past….Continue Reading>>>
