Going To The River At Night In Igboland Is Very Dangerous, Here’s Why

Spread the love

This are one of the things people do ignorantly.

There are reasons why we perform sacrifices during the sun rise till the sun goes down.. it’s not by choice but for a reason… Ehihie na uchichi are two different existence that are been govern by two different spirits…

The day is been rule by human and clean spirits and the night is been rule by the dark spirits (Black witches) this is why we don’t break kolanut at night, the reason why dark rituals are been performed mostly at night, the reasons why sicknesses get worst at night, the reasons why spirits moves at night mostly. Etc, Go to burial grounds in the afternoon, you won’t see a ghost or may have a slight encounter that ghosts are there but return there at night, you will confirm that indeed you visited a burial ground… The reason is because they own the night…

So understand the sacrifice you want to carry out and apply wisdom.

I use to see some people showing videos or pictures of them in the river at night performing sacrifices, the truth is I may not really know your reasons for doing that but what I knew too well is that river entities don’t like visitations at night especially where you have to carry light… Except if that river is no longer river….

Spirits governing rivers are calm spirits, pure spirits, shy spirits but when angered, can destroy alot of things in a twinkle of eye, rivers don’t need disturbance at odd ours, which is at night..

In my town and other places in Igbo land, it has been recorded that some people got attacked by river entities for coming to fetch water at night with lantern after several warnings and they suffered it till death…

In my town we have 2 sacred rivers Achihi and Ishi-Ogba… A woman who usually go to Ishi-Ogba river to get water for preparing okpa she useally sale at the market was attacked by Agu iyi after the chief Priest have warn her severally, she did not survive it. Same thing happened at Achihi also…the woman did not survive it too… Those rivers you can’t go there at night with lantern, you will collect…

I took someone to Mmiri Obibia in Awka for ogbanje work, as I was going down the river the Aka-ete of that river spoke to me and said, that the person I am coming with should not step her foot inside the water if she love herself, I ask , what did she do please? She kept calm then I appease her with an egg, then she spoke, in her word… This lady provoked me 13 years ago and i have to chase her out of the river…

I turned and ask the lady to stop going down the river, and also ask her what happened in that river many years ago, did she have any encounter in the river when she was growing.. she think little and said, yes that she lived with her mother’s sister who own a restaurant and she will go to school, return to fetch water for her… And will have to fetch the water till around 8 pm to be able to get enough water for the cooking, so one-day she was fetching water at around 8 pm with light as usual and something like human figure came out from the river wearing white cloud around the body and start chasing her, she throw both her galone and lantern away and run for her life and that was how she stopped living with that her Aunty.. but lately everywhere she goes, it will be coming up to go and Appease the river…

I said to her.. now I knew exactly why Afa keep saying offer to Aka-Ete not ndi otu… So I now did the needful and there is peace.

So why do I share this today? It’s for you to learn and correct Yourself.

Atimes people do things out of ignorant, if you visit them at night and disturb their peace, instead of you to go home with blessings, you will go home with curse. Use your senses.. Do not go to river at night, rather go in the morning hours or in the evening…..Seê _ Morê
