When you hear a traditional person praying and calling upon his ezumezu mmuo ,EZUMEZU MMUO smply means SPIRIT ENTITIES, These are spirits such as; Your Chi, Agwu, Alusi, Ndi-Otu, Ndi- Ogbanje, Ndi ichie ,Ndi umuada ,Aja ani , Udo ,etc. Their interaction with us comes from a path that was pre-destined by the Chi and Onye-uwa to direct our activities on earth.

Their purpose is to direct, protect and provide for us at an individual level while our purpose is to align with them as our source and pathway to the creator. Their influence can be calculated as the purpose of our existence, to give us the necessary guidance and direction.

Agwu simply means destiny or spiritual calling of a person.

This oku agwu Ikenga is called ezumezu – completion owing that all agwu that has to work with individuals are invoked here. This is also known as Agwu ikwu ino.
