The late former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe left a legacy as the most educated president the world had ever produced. He held 5 degrees, 2 masters degrees, 3 revoked degrees and 11 honorary degrees.

They include; Bachelor of Arts (History and English) from the University of Fort Hare (1951), Bachelor of Administration from University of South Africa, Bachelor of Education from the University of South Africa, Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of London, Bachelor of Laws from University of London (External Programme), Master of Laws from University of London (External Programme), Master of Science in Economics from University of London (External Programme) and 14 honorary degrees from various universities across the globe.

The two law degrees were earned while he was in prison (between 1964 and 1975) and the Masters of Science was attained while leading the Zimbabwe government after independence. It is also reported that three of his degrees were revoked. Robert Mugabe died aged 95 having ruled Zimbabwe for over 10 years.
