1. Frequent Urination (Polyuria).

This happens because excess glucose in your blood makes your kidneys work overtime to filter and absorb the sugar. When your kidneys can’t keep up, the excess glucose is excreted into your urine, dragging along fluids from your tissues. This causes you to urinate more frequently, especially noticeable in the morning.

2. Excessive Thirst (Polydipsia).
