Jada P responded calmly to a fan who asked when she and Wizkid would get married. She explained that they can’t just get married because other people are getting married. She said, “Wizkid and I can’t just get married when we aren’t ready because other people are getting married. It’s not a competition so y’all should mind your business.” This means they want to marry when they feel ready, not because of what others are doing.
She also said that marriage is like a marathon, not a race. She expressed surprise that so many people are focused on when they will marry. She mentioned that many people talking about it don’t understand what it takes to have a happy, healthy, and lasting marriage. Jada P said, “It’s a marathon, not a race. It truly concerns on how many of you focus on this topic! A majority of you typing away don’t have the experience, knowledge or understanding of what it takes to have a happy, healthy and successful marriage that would last forever.
