Jehovah’s Witnesses are a very popular religious group. However, despite being popular, we hardly know or see them as popular people.

According to a report on the official website of Jehovah’s Witnesses, there are over 8.6 million Jehovah’s Witnesses scattered across the world.

For me, a group with over 8 million people should be very popular. So I researched to see how many of the witnesses are popular stars or are in the entertainment industry, sports in particular.

In my findings, I learned that there are a handful of Jehovah’s Witnesses who are players. Some were once members of the witnesses while growing up, while some others only became one after becoming famous, toward the end of their career, while some mixed both their religion as well as their profession.

Below is a list of a few players who are Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In my research, I discovered that many of the players who are witnesses are either retired or old, or late. I was disappointed that in football I was unable to discover a famous football player who was an active Jehovah’s Witness. For me, it shows two things.

One is that Jehovah’s Witnesses are very religious people who take their spirituality as the first most important thing in life.

Again, the fact that they are not much is evidence that they try to be a part of the world. There are still controversies surrounding the identity of Serena Williams and Venus Williams as Jehovah’s Witnesses, with a few people claiming that they are not dedicated members of the group…..See More
