1. Neapolitan Mastiff
Neapolitan Mastiff is a Italian dog breed which descends from traditional guard dogs. This breed is stubborn, intelligent, strong and very trainable. They are well known again for their fearless behavior and have since attained a good record of saving their masters from farm intrusions. A lion is something this breed can willingly give a good fight.
2. Rhodesian Ridgeback
This dog breed may look small but it dates back to the Khoikhoi people. It was used for hunting and guarding, it was crossed by the European dogs with the early colonists who colonized Zimbabwe. The breed is strong, dignified, intelligent, loyal and mischievous. However the fearless genes which flow through the blood veins of this dog can fight a lion.
3. Bloodhounds
This dog breed here was mainly bred for deer hunting and some other hunting duties. However its ability to survive in extreme conditions can make it give a lion a peaceful fight to death.
However bear in mind we are comparing both training necessary for the dog and having to face a matured lion in the wild.
4. Dogo Argentino
This dog breed was specifically for taking down big game and its powerful jaws and intelligence work hand in hand to take down other large predators like lions.
5. Kangals
This is a dog breed which was specifically bred for saving people`s lives in Sivas and now it is widely spread in Turkey. Its ability to resist fear and powerful muscles gives it a good kick in defending lions.…..S££ MOR£
